Doha: The Speaker of the Shura Council HE Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim briefed the Council on the draft laws, Social Security and Military Retirement, and decided to refer it to the temporary joint committee formed from the Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee and the Economic and the Financial Affairs Committee, to study them and submit a report to the Council.
In this context, the Council stressed the importance of the two aforementioned bills, as they are associated with a large segment of citizens, pointing to the need to study them comprehensively to take the appropriate decision.
On the other hand, the Speaker of the Council informed the members of the memorandum of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers related to the Shura Councils approval of the draft general budget and its approval of the draft law approving the states general budget for the fiscal year 2022.
