Doha: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education launched today the events of the four-days exhibition 'Qatar in the Eyes of Its Students', which is being organized with the aim of enhancing the students' national identity and good citizenship, in an innovative and creative way.
On this occasion, Head of Adult Education Department at the Ministry Ali Jassim Al Kuwari said that this event coincides with the State of Qatar's celebration of its National Day, as well as the FIFA Arab World Cup Qatar 2021 - which is currently being organized.
The event also allows students to present their creative, cultural, sports and national works, which reflect the depth of their love for the homeland, as the theme of all the diverse activities - from drawings to beautiful innovative handicrafts, is national and cultural identity, Al Kuwari added.
On her part, Head of Programs and Activities at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education Fatima Yousef Al Obaidli affirmed that the exhibition represents a symbol of cultural awareness through the works of the participating public school students, through which a selection of models of sports building in Qatar is highlighted and many topics in the Qatari arena are addressed through creative and manual icons.
She explained that through the artistic, cultural and national works it presents, the exhibition stimulates the imagination of the past, present and future - ending with an anticipation for the future.
