Doha: There will be strong wind leading to blowing dust this weekend, warned the Qatar Meteorology Department.
The country is expected to be affected by fresh to strong Northwesterly wind and gusts exceeding 30KT inshore and offshore from Wednesday, June 14, 2023, stated the department in an alert.
It added that the weather condition will prevail until the weekend which will cause blowing dust at times and rising waves offshore.
The country has been experiencing very high temperatures ranging between 35 and 45 degree Celsius.
