Indian parents in Qatar who are running from pillar to post have some relief as another school gets permission to increase their capacity. Ministry of Education and Higher Education has granted 200 more seats for KG 1 to Scholars International, situated in Muaither.

The school announced on its website that admissions are open for KG 1. It also listed 44144600/44165325 as the contact numbers for the same. An official from the school confirmed that 200 seats have been allotted to the school adding, "these seats are filling up quickly and there are only 150 seats as of now."

Prior to this Pearl School had been granted permission for its West Bay campus, though it was only for class 1 to 7.

Securing an admission in an Indian school this year has been very difficult for parents as two of the biggest schools were told to stop admissions since they already have students on their rolls beyond the permitted capacity.

Meanwhile Ministry of Education and Higher Education had also said that six new Indian schools were given permission to start operation. It is still not clear when these schools will start their admission as till now there is no announcement indicating the same.
