40 medium and light aircraft enthrall audience at Al Khor Fly-In

The 11th edition of Al Khor Fly-In that was launched yesterday was a huge hit among the residents. Organised by Al Khor Aviation, under the patronage of Minister of Transport and Communications HE Jassim bin Saif Al Sulaiti saw the participation of 40 light and medium aircraft representing Qatar Air Club along with private aircraft owners from Kuwait. 

The highlight of the event was the aerobatics show, that also included formation flying along with other cultural and artistic events that accompanied the event. 

Minister of Transport and Communications pointed out that the participation of Al-Zaeem Air College Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Attiyah in the current version with a large number of aircraft and air shows reflects the importance of the event.

He added that Al Khor Fly-In supports the tourism sector and motivates young people to join the aviation sector, pointing out that the forum is one of the most prominent entertainment events organized in the country, not only for the aviation amateurs but for citizens and residents of Qatar.

 The event is open to the public from 8am to 5.30pm and entrance is free of charge.
