Doha: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education announced that it will allow physical attendance for some year groups as an exception at 50% school capacity and as per the choice of students and parents.
The exception applies for secondary school students - grade 12 in public schools and grade 11 and 12 in private schools - students with special needs and students of specialized schools.
Earlier this month, the Ministry had suspended in-person classes in all public and private schools, as well as kindergartens until January 27 due to increase in COVID-19 cases in Qatar.
