Kuwait: Represented by the Ministry of Interior, the State of Qatar participated in the closing ministerial session of the 6th Arab Regional Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction, held in the State of Kuwait from Feb. 9-12.
Director General of Public Security and Vice-Chairman of the Civil Defense Council Major General Mohammed Jassim Al Sulaiti headed Qatar's delegation participating in the closing session, in the presence of representatives of the ministries and relevant state bodies.
The session discussed a number of topics related to disasters, responding to them, and reducing their risks.
