Doha: The State of Qatar attended the opening session of the 32nd Session of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Assembly, held at IMO headquarters in London yesterday.
The Qatari delegation was headed by Minister of Transport H E Jassim Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti, and included Director of International Organizations Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA),
H E Ambassador Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri. The IMO Assembly will discuss the issues relating to maritime navigation’s safety and security and marine environment protection. The Session will also see the IMO Council elections.
