Indian Embassy urges community organisations to postpone large gatherings in Qatar

The Indian Embassy in Doha asked the community organisations to postpone large gatherings in view of the coronavirus spread.

A tweet from the @IndEmbDoha handle says:

“In view of increasing reports of risks of spread of the novel corona virus (COVID-19), Indian Community Organisations (Apex bodies & Associate Organizations) are hereby advised to postpone, as far as possible, all programmes that may entail large gatherings. This is only by way of abundant precaution. Further guidance will be provided depending on how the situation evolves.”
