Doha, Qatar: Lusail City is set to host the grand opening of the Healthy Kids Village today, Thursday, an initiative organized by the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) in collaboration with Qatari Diar.
Designed to promote health awareness among children of all ages, the village will run until Sunday, February 16, at Food Arena on Lusail Corniche. Visitors can explore its offerings daily from 4pm to 10pm.
Huda Mohsen Al Wahedi, Executive Director of Corporate Communications Directorate at PHCC, emphasized that this initiative provides a valuable opportunity for children and their parents to enjoy an environment that combines health and entertainment.
She added that the village will offer children incentive gifts, engaging recreational games, and free medical screenings, including oral and dental check-ups, as well as biometric measurements to monitor their overall health.
The event will feature specialized doctors, including family physicians and psychologists, to provide simplified health and psychological consultations tailored to the target age group.
This aims to enhance children’s awareness of their physical and mental well-being.
Nutritionists from PHCC, alongside dental professionals and oral health specialists, will also highlight the importance of proper nutrition through interactive activities designed to instill health concepts in a fun and educational manner.
This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts of PHCC and Qatari Diar to promote a culture of health among future generations and encourage children to adopt a healthy lifestyle from an early age.
The Healthy Kids Village is expected to attract a large number of visitors, especially given the diverse activities that blend entertainment with health awareness.
Admission to the event is free for families, offering everyone the chance to benefit from the services and enjoy a unique educational and recreational experience in a lively family-friendly atmosphere.
