Doha: The Board of Trustees of the Community College of Qata, chaired by Dr. Hessa bint Sultan Al Jaber, held its first meeting of 2025.
During the meeting, several academic and administrative issues were discussed, culminating in the approval of three new academic programmes designed to meet labour market demands and enhance the quality of education at the college.
The Board reviewed the decisions and recommendations from its fifth meeting of 2024.
Following this, the Board addressed the items on the agenda and made appropriate decisions, including the preliminary approval of programmes in the fields of Science and Technology: the Associate Diploma in Aircraft Structural Engineering Technology and the Associate Diploma in Aircraft Electronics Engineering Technology. Additionally, a program in the field of Arts and Humanities—the Associate Diploma in Digital Media—was approved.
These new programmes are part of the college’s strategy focused on innovation and growth.
By leveraging the college’s resources and capabilities, these programmes aim to deliver unique academic offerings in partnership with leading national institutions in the labour market.
