Doha, Qatar: The Embassy of India, Doha in collaboration with the Indian Business and Professionals’ Council (IBPC) and Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) hosted a Ramadan Suhoor gathering on March 19, 2025 at Al Messila Resort, Doha. 

A photo exhibition titled “Investment Opportunities in India” was also put up during the Suhoor. 

The event was attended by over 2,50 guests that included prominent Qatari business leaders, Ambassadors, diplomats and members of the Indian community. 

On this occasion, Ambassador of India to Qatar H E Vipul, extended greetings for the holy month of Ramadan and highlighted the close people-to-people ties between India and Qatar. 

He  recalled the landmark visit of H H the Amir of the State of Qatar to India on February 17 and 18, 2025 during which both countries elevated their relationship to strategic partnership. 

Both sides also reaffirmed commitment for future growth of the partnership in different areas including trade, investment, energy, technology, innovation and sustainability. 

The exhibition on investment opportunities in India showcased the success of the ‘Make in India’ programme of Government of India over the past decade and presented an overview of the opportunities available to the investors, especially in the emerging and high-growth sectors such as, including automobiles, aviation, chemicals, education, electronics, food processing, infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, renewable energy, and semiconductors. 

The exhibition also familiarised the attendees with the investor-friendly policies and economic incentives offered by India.
