Doha: The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met on Monday with United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs HE Rosemary DiCarlo, who is currently visiting the country.
During the meeting, they reviewed cooperation relations between the State of Qatar and the United Nations, exchanged views on the latest international and regional developments, and discussed international efforts to achieve peace.
They also discussed the security and political aspect of the Afghan issue, as well as the humanitarian situation and international efforts in that regard.
