Doha: Al Rayyan International University College (ARIU) announced that registration is now open for its two new Master’s programmes for February 2022 .
This is in partnership with the University of Derby in the United Kingdom, operating under the umbrella of the Culture, Education, Leisure and Sports cluster at Al Faisal Holding. The said programmes are licensed by the University of Derby and approved by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Qatar.
The said programmes include Master of Business Administration in Global Hospitality Management, and Master of Science in Tourism Management which will complement ARIU’s current educational offerings and help the country’s expansion of high-quality postgraduate education.
Moreover, it will also contribute to the development and growth of Qatar’s tourism and hospitality industries and help the country’s efforts in the development of specialised education in strategically important sectors.
Executive Dean of ARIU with University of Derby, Dr. Ivan Ninov said: “Our institutional goals are fully aligned with the main goals of Qatar’s National Vision 2030, and our academic majors very distinctively address the core pillars of the Vision. A postgraduate degree from the University of Derby will open doors to an exciting future with varied career prospects and options. We are optimistic that by introducing the two new Master’s programmes, we will be able to help working professionals further enhance their talents and enrich their careers.”
The Master’s degrees are fully based on University of Derby’s curriculum, and upon successful graduation from the academic programmes, students will be awarded with Master’s degree from the said university.
It will be offered in full-time and part time modes to facilitate working professionals who are interested in receiving a graduate degree. The duration of the full-time programme will be one year.
