Doha: The Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met the winners of the 15th Education Excellence Award, on the sidelines of the ceremony held at the Sheraton Doha Hotel this morning.
The Amir expressed his happiness to meet the winners, and his pride in their excellence, especially the students who have won more than once. His Highness also urged them to pursue excellence to achieve scientific achievements and academic excellence and to continue the process of creativity and scientific research in all fields.
For their part, the award winners expressed their thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Amir for the honor, his continuous support for education, and his pride in the initiatives and proposals that were presented during the meeting, which is an incentive for them to achieve more achievements that will contribute to the renaissance of the country, stressing their quest to continue to provide the best for their country.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and a number of Their Excellencies Sheikhs and Ministers, and senior officials in the education sector.
