Doha: Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) warns of strong wind and high seas offshore during the weekend as weather conditions are also forecast to be hot during the daytime. Slight to blowing dust is also likely from Friday till Saturday.
The temperature during the weekend may reach 36 degree Celsius at maximum, and 20 degree Celsius, at the lowest.
On Friday, the wind inshore will be in northwesterly direction at 7-17 KT gusting to 24 KT at places during the daytime, reaching 22 KT by afternoon offshore.
On Saturday, the wind inshore will be in northwesterly direction from 8-18 KT gusting till 26 KT. For offshore, it will vary from 8-18 KT gusting to 24 KT at times.
Visibility during the weekend will range from 4-9 kilometres on Friday and 4-8 km/3 km or less on Saturday.
