DOHA, Qatar: Petrol prices will go up by 10 dirhams from October 1, according to the new price list issued by Qatar Petroleum.
Prices of both Super and Premium grade petrol will be 10 dirhams more than the September rates.
Price of Premium grade petrol will be QR1.60 a litre in October compared to QR1.50 in September.
Price of Super grade petrol will be QR1.70 a litre. It was QR1.60 in September.
Price of deseil will increase by 5 dirhams in October. It will be QR1.55 a litre as against QR1.50 in September.
In September the prices remained unchanged from August prices.
From April 2016, the Ministry of Energy and Industry had started pegging the fuel prices to the international market.
From September, it is Qatar Petroleum who is announcing the monthly price list.
When the first list was announced in June 2016 the premium petrol was QR1.20 per litre, super QR1.30 per litre and diesel QR1.40 per litre.
