Doha, Qatar: Qatar University (QU)’s Admissions Office has opened application process for graduate programmes for the Spring 2024 semester from yesterday. Prospective students can submit their applications until October 5, 2023. This opportunity is exclusively available for students who meet the academic qualifications and prerequisites set forth by QU for each programme.
The Admissions Office has outlined that a diverse selection of 31 academic programs will be open for enrollment in the Spring 2024 semester. These programs encompass a range of disciplines, including doctoral and master’s programmes in the College of Engineering as well as doctoral, master’s, and certificate programmes in the College of Arts and Sciences. Additionally, the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies is offering a Master’s programme in Quran and Sunnah, specialising in the science of Hadith and its interpretation.
Aspiring graduate students are urged to explore the available specialisation information and admission requirements for these programmes through the official Graduate Admissions website. The application process requires the completion of an online form, accessible via the university’s official website at apply.qu.edu.qa. Prospective students are required to create a user profile, submit their application, and attach all necessary documents according to the specified admission deadlines.
The Admissions Office emphasizes that acceptance into QU’s graduate programmes is competitive, and prospective students must ensure that they satisfy all programme-specific admission criteria. The deadline for submitting all required official documents is December 21, 2023. Applications submitted beyond this date will not be considered. Notification of admission decisions will be disseminated through applicants’ electronic accounts, and will be emailed to them by December 28, 2023.
The commencement of classes for the Spring 2024 semester is set for January 21, 2024.
