Doha: Qatar University (QU) Student Affairs Sector, in cooperation with the Academic and Career Counseling Department at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) organized an awareness programme for eighth and ninth graders to increase the number of students enrolled in Science and Technology.
The event will run for three weeks until November 10 in cooperation with the Health Cluster, College of Engineering, and College of Arts and Sciences at QU.
Dr. Eiman Mustafawi, Vice President for Student Affairs, commented: “Human, social, and economic development is a fundamental pillar of Qatar National Vision 2030 to achieve the strategic goals of the State of Qatar. This initiative aims to prepare a generation capable of achieving these goals. The initiative aims to develop a professional academic advising system that leads to an increase in the number of students enrolled in scientific and technological disciplines by creating a passion for science among students at an early stage in their lives.”
