Riyadh: Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jassem Mohamed Al Budaiwi stressed on Wednesday the importance of strengthening strategic partnership relations between the GCC and the People's Republic of China.
During his meeting with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Chen Weiqing, Al Budaiwi underlined discussing the mechanism for following up the outputs of the GCC-China Summit for Cooperation and Development on Dec. 9, 2022, which aims to strengthen the existing strategic partnership between the two sides.
The two sides also discussed the bilateral negotiations between the GCC countries and China on the free trade agreement, in addition to regional and international developments and issues of common concern.
