London - Minister of Education and Higher Education HE Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi met in London with British Secretary of State for Education HE Nadhim Zahawi.
During the meeting, they reviewed cooperation in the fields of education and higher education and ways to support and enhance it, especially in areas related to technical and vocational education and education for people with special needs, and the education strategy for sustainability and climate change.
On the other hand, HE the Minister of Education and Higher Education visited the Cultural Attache at the Embassy of the State of Qatar in London, where she was briefed on the efforts made and the services provided to the Qatari students.
During her visit, HE the Minister met with a number of Qatari students studying in the United Kingdom and urged them to work hard, diligence and perseverance to achieve their goals and objectives.
Her Excellency also visited a number of specialized schools in London and Cambridge, where she met with their officials, and exchanged ideas and visions about the future of education.
These meetings came within the framework of HE the Minister's visit to London to attend the Education World Forum, which was held there from May 22 to 25
