Doha, Qatar: Ministry of Social Development and Family (MSDF)’s Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center (AMAN) hosted Tuesday an interactive forum on women’s achievements, in collaboration with Lusail University.
Marking International Women’s Day 2025, observed annually on March 8, the event brought together Lusail University students alongside distinguished female academics, experts, and social protection and family consultants.
Several senior state and private sector officials were in attendance. Speaking at the event, AMAN’s Protection Department Director Turkiya Al Dosari emphasized the importance of engaging university students in discussions about women’s contributions across various fields to explore the legal, psychological, and social aspects of womens roles, showcasing their impact on society.
AMAN’s Rehabilitation Department Director Amna Al Mahmoud reaffirmed the center’s commitment to reducing violence and strengthening family cohesion. She highlighted the forum’s role in celebrating women’s achievements and contributions, stating that women are at the heart of their families and the driving force behind progress and development in their communities.
Director of AMAN’s Communication and Media Office Hanan Al Ali stressed the importance of collaboration with partners across the education, health, social, and legal sectors. — QNA
