Geneva: Minister of State for International Cooperation H E Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad met yesterday with President of the Saudi Human Rights Commission H E Dr. Hala Al Tuwaijri, on the sidelines of the 58th session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva. They discussed the cooperative relations between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them. They also discussed the efforts of both countries in the fields of human rights and women’s empowerment, in addition to several topics of common interest.
The Minister of State for International Cooperation also met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway H E Andreas Kravik; Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the State of Palestine, H E Dr. Varsen Aghabekian Shahin; and United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights H E Volker Turk, on the sidelines of the session.
