Doha: Scattered clouds and chances of rain will likely continue during the weekend, as strong wind and high sea are expected. Qatar Meteorology Department stated this in its weather forecast.
From Thursday to Saturday, temperature may reach 15 degrees Celsius at the lowest and a maximum of 21 degrees Celsius.
Wind on Friday will be northwesterly to northeasterly direction at a speed of 08-18 knot, reaching 28 knot at times inshore. For offshore, it may reach 05-25 knot gusting to 33 knot.
On Saturday, wind will be in northwesterly direction at a speed of 08-18 knot reaching 29 knot at times offshore.
On both days, sea heights will range between 2-5 ft inshore, reaching 11ft offshore on Friday and 10ft offshore on Saturday.

Various areas in Qatar received rain this morning including Doha, as the Department urged caution against sudden strong wind and low visibility.
A waterspout was also spotted near the Ras Laffan platform, northeast of the country's territorial waters.

The weather department also issued a marine warning for thundery rain with strong wind and high sea, as waves are expected to reach 10ft during thundery rain. During this period, the Department recommended avoiding all marine activities.
