Doha: Souq Waqif organisers announced that the Spring Festival will launch on Sunday.
The organisers confirmed that they have soft launched the festival today, as announced earlier.
"The festival will have many surprises in store. Today is the soft launch and Sunday will be the official launch," Adel Al Kurdi, Media Coordinator of Souq Waqif Events said during an interview with Al Rayyan TV.
More than 60 activities including 30 amusement rides are in store for Souq Waqif visitors at the Festival.
Running until April 25, the festival presented in partnership with QSports, a Qatari private company, is set to be the longest festival in Souq Waqif. It will feature a wide range of family-friendly outdoor games and rides as well as entertainment including parades and musical shows.
