Photos of the artist who appeared to be dancing and filming a video in the same location have also gone viral on Twitter, as his name continues to trend in Qatar.

The 25 year-old artist departed Seoul yesterday morning at Seoul Gimpo Business Aviation Center to head on a solo trip to Qatar, according to Korean media.

Jungkook, also referred to as "JK", "Golden Maknae", or "Kookie", received warm welcome from his fans when he touched down in Doha yesterday, October 24, as "Welcome to Qatar Jungkook" trended on Twitter.

Several photos and videos of him waving at fans who witnessed his arrival also circulated across several social media platforms.

To show support, ARMYs in Qatar, prepared a gift to celebrate his visit.

Local fanbase, qatarbtsarmy, shared a video compilation of welcoming greetings from BTS fans in Qatar. Joy and excitement exuded from the video as ARMYs greeted him in Korean, wished for his safety, and one even belting the chorus to the artist's solo song "Euphoria".

Speaking to Neema Yuseph, the admin of the fanbase, she said: "It was a massive surprise to know that Jungkook is travelling to Qatar, and literally each and every one of us was thrilled."

Neema said that the video greetings is one of the ARMYs ways of showing support and excitement without crowding and endangering the artist's safety.

"...we asked our fans to send in short video messages as a welcome message to him. At least this way he and all BTS members can safely see his fans are so excited he is here," she told The Peninsula

The fandom received over 100 video greetings from fans in Qatar as it continues to grow in number, to date.

While the Korean entertainment news site Newsen reported that he is traveling to Qatar for a FIFA promotional video, there has been no official announcement yet from the artist's management on the purpose of his visit to the country. Meanwhile, ARMYs couldn't be more thrilled to have him here in Qatar.

Expressing their hopes for Jungkook's visit, Neema said: "While we can imagine he must be so busy with his schedule, we are hoping he can spend some scheduled few minutes, so that his fandom can visit him and have a short meet and greet."

"This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for so many of us, and getting this chance would make a world of difference," she told The Peninsula.
