Department of Meteorology has warned of “Thundery rain expected with strong wind by afternoon” for Saturday.
Weather will be “misty at first becomes relatively hot daytime with local clouds and chance of thundery rain at places by afternoon,” it added.

The department previously warned of rain, thunder and storm in some parts of Qatar, for today, Friday, through a series of tweets since this afternoon.
A 4.43 pm tweet warned ‘Activity of a thunder cell. Occasionally strong winds, please be careful”
