Doha: As part of the Qatar Air Surveys Project, aerial photography covering all parts of Qatar and Halul Island has been completed to produce 20 cm-denominated aerial images.
The project, which is implemented by The Center for Geographic Information Systems (CGIS) of the Ministry of Municipality, aims to update the digital maps of the country and filming took place from March 30 to April 20, 2022.
This is for use in the activities and projects of Fifa Qatar 2022 and later in all other projects of the country in various fields including planning, education, health, Ministry of Interior services, infrastructure development and others.
