Doha, Qatar: Qatar University (QU) has announced opening the admissions process for the upcoming Fall 2024 semester, offering many opportunities for enthusiastic graduate students.
The Admission Department has invited ambitious individuals, urging them to apply for a diverse range of programmes spanning various disciplines, all designed to cultivate academic excellence and foster innovation. The application period is set to run from December 24, 2023, to February 29, 2024, exclusively through the official QU website. Applicants can expect admission decisions to be revealed on June 6, 2024.
Admission to QU is grounded in the principle of healthy competition among applicants who have met the minimum requirements. Acceptance into programmes is contingent upon the capacity of each specific programme and adherence to relevant admission criteria.
Prospective students have a selection of 67 programmes to choose from for the Fall 2024 semester. This includes comprehensive offerings such as PhD and Master’s programmes in the College of Engineering, the PhD in Fiqh and Usul Al Fiqh programme, and the PhD in Exegesis and Qur’anic Sciences programme within the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies. Additionally, all PhD, Master’s, and certificate programmes for the College of Arts and Sciences, PhD in Health Sciences, Master’s, and certificate in Health Professions Education at QU Health, and Master’s and graduate certificates in Biomedical Sciences, Genetic Counselling, Public Health, and Human Nutrition in the College of Health and Sciences are available. The College of Pharmacy offers Master in Pharmacy and Doctor of Pharmacy programmes.
The College of Business presents programmes such as Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Accounting (MAC), Master of Science in Finance (MSc Finance), Master of Science in Marketing (MSc Marketing), Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSc Business Analytics), and PhD in Business Administration (PhD BA), along with an Executive Master in Leadership. The College of Law features Master of Law programmes in Public Law and Private Law, and a PhD in the Law programme.
In the College of Education, programmes include Master of Education in Education Leadership, Master of Arts in Curriculum, Instructions, and Assessment, Master of Education in Special Education, along with Diplomas in Primary Education, Secondary Education, Special Education, and Early Childhood Education.
