INGLOT and its team of talented manicurists collaborated with iconic nail artist Naomi Yasuda to create a blazing back and red ombré nail look for KENZO’s Spring/Summer 2018 show held June 25 at Paris Fashion Week.
With the mesmerising quality of a blazing evening bonfire, this look served as a powerful contrast to the bright spring and summer looks shown on the KENZO runway, and it will surely inspire fall nails this year.

“The inspiration was Japanese supermodel Sayoko Yamaguchi. She was a model actress in the 70’s and 80’s, and she was also Kenzo Takada’s muse,” said Naomi Yasuda, lead nail artist sponsored by INGLOT. “Her look was very unique, she was known for her beautiful black hair and red lips. So this season for the KENZO show, I created black and red ombré nails.

“It’s very simple and clean yet chic,” said Yasuda. It almost looks like a Japanese lacquer ware.” The manicures were complimented with glossy black pedicures.
Naomi began with a base coat of the INGLOT Ridge Filler. She then applied a layer of the blazing red using INGLOT Nail Enamel 805 and created the black ombré effect with a sponge using INGLOT Breathable Nail Enamel 692, and sealed with INGLOT Dry & Shine.
All INGLOT products used to create the looks seen at these shows are available at more than 600 retail locations worldwide.
