The weekend is upon us yet again and this time with a chance of rain, so residents if you are planning to go out be prepared with an umbrella or two as we have lined up a list of outdoor and a few indoor events for you.

MOQ Live Kids Show

Mall of Qatar is hosting a live show for children which include the Jungle School and Maddy’s Tale.

QATAR’S STRONGEST MAN

Qatar’s Strongest Man is returning with its 5th edition to Aspire. The competition will be fierce as returning rivals will have to battle it out through a series of impossible challenges of brawn, speed and endurance.

The competition will include two categories:

The Open competitions for the community on Friday.

The Qatari only competitions on Saturday.

Show Jumping Competition

Al Shaqab and Qatar Equestrian & Modern Pentathlon Federation will be organizing the Al Rayyan International Show Jumping Competition.

To ensure that everyone in the family enjoys the weekend outing, the organizers have also arranged for fun-filled family activities such as pony rides, bouncing castles, face painting and henna for ladies.  

In addition, a Children’s Art Competition will be conducted at the arts & craft stations.  

Entry is free for all.

Hitting Bullseye – Nerf Wars Battlefield Zone

Doha Festival City is organizing a nerf wars event for kids all over Qatar. The event will take place every weekend until December 9.

Ride Of Champions

One of the largest mass participation sports events in Qatar, Ride of Champions will take place this weekend with over 1000 participants from more than 57 nationalities represented.

There will be two events in which the morning event will take place on Friday. Cycling fans interested in participating in the first-timer, family, and kids’ events can still register between 5pm and 8pm on Thursday behind QF’s Ceremonial Court at Education City for the evening event.

The Saracen Winter Dragon Boat Festival 2017

Sponsored by the Saracen Community Initiative, Qatar Dragon Boat will host its first competition of the season at the Grand Hyatt Doha on Friday.

Though the registration is closed for the event, you can definitely head to the venue to watch as recreational and corporate teams and premier dragon boat teams compete with each other.
