Doha: The Court of First Instance fined a young man with QR 20,000 who blackmailed and insulted his wife that he would publish her photographs online.
The Public Prosecution has accused the young man of blackmailing the victim in a non-public manner, and insulting her through means of social media communication tool.
Investigations indicate the accused resides in an Arab country.
One week ago, the victim filed a complaint against him as she received messages through Whatsapp from the accused, filled with obscene words. He threatened to publish their pictures and her social life on the Internet.
