Doha: To raise awareness about coronavirus and to curb its spread in the country, Ministry of Culture and Sports launched a radio channel in the national language of Bangaladesh, Bengali.
In a tweet, the ministry wrote, "In the interest of the public and to raise awareness in all segments of society, Ministry of Culture and Sports has launched a radio channel in the Bengali language, QFM, on the frequency of 95.3."
Prior to this to to reach across to number of areas with high labour density, Ministry allocated 10 cars with amplifiers and speakers to raise awareness about the dangers of the virus.
