Doha, Qatar: The Amir HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met with the winners of the 18th Education Excellence Day Award on the sidelines of the ceremony held at the Sheraton Doha Hotel on Sunday morning.
HH the Amir praised the winners for their excellence in academic performance and their distinguished efforts, emphasizing the importance of upholding Qatari customs, ethics and values.
His Highness also highlighted the recent internal and external accomplishments made through the efforts of the sons of the homeland, wishing the winners continued success in their future endeavors.
For their part, the winners expressed their thanks and gratitude to HH the Amir for patronizing this important award and for providing an educational environment filled with opportunities.
They valued His Highness's continuous support for excellence and expressed their appreciation for the significant potential the State offers in the field of education. The winners emphasized their determination to continue their academic efforts to fulfill the aspirations of both the State and society.
The meeting was attended by Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, along with several of Their Excellencies officials in charge of the education sector.
