Doha: Youssef Abdel Razzak of Kuwait won the first round of the Qatar International Jet Ski Championship in the Super Stock category at Wakra Port yesterday.
Qatar’s Thamer Al Darwish had to settle for a second place and was closely followed by Khamis Al Hosni of Oman.
Caumont Ludovic of France, Ali Mustafa Makhsid of Kuwait and Al Hosni of Oman topped in the other three categories.
Ludovic finished first in the Ski F1 division. Abdel Azizz Mohammed Al Omar and Abdelwahab Suhail Al Issa, both of Kuwait, came second and third respectively in the Ski F1 division.
In the Stock category, Abdullah Fadel Saud of Kuwait and Rashid Al Mannai of Qatar clinched the second and third position behind the Omani winner.
In the Begineers section, Salem Abdel Aziz Al Saraf of Kuwait came second followed by Abdel Rahman Mubarak Al Nasr of Qatar. THE PENINSULA
