Doha: Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) said in a post today that dust mass with moderate intensity is likely from late night.

“The country is expected to be affected by a dust mass with moderate intensity from late night with poor horizontal visibility reaching 2 KM at some places at times. Please be careful,” QMD said.

Earlier today, QMD had said that the country is witnessing hot weather as temperatures ranged between 32- 44  degree Celsius

“It is expected that fresh-strong Northwesterly wind will continue at inshore and offshore for tomorrow, which leads to rising dust and reducing in horizontal visibility at places. Accordingly, we remind the need to take precautions and avoid all marine activities,” QMD added.
