Doha: With the spread of Covid-19 in the country, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) is making changes to its visitor policy.
HMC has decided that the emergency department at the Heart Hospital will no longer be open to public access starting March 22. The hospital will continue to provide care to patients with emergency cardiac conditions but will not accept walk-in patients.
Patients requiring urgent treatment can visit the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) Urgent Care clinic or one of HMC's Emergency Departments.
HMC assured that Heart Hospital cardiologists are present in all HMC Emergency Departments to ensure patients with emergency heart conditions receive best care.
