11 new coronavirus cases reported in Qatar taking total to 481

Doha: The Ministry of Public Health today announced 11 new positive cases of coronavirus 2019 (Covid-19) in Qatar, taking the total number of confirmed cases to 481.

MOPH said in a statement today, that most of the new cases are linked to travelers who have recently come to the State of Qatar, two of them are Qatari citizens, while the others are expatriates. The new confirmed cases have been put in complete isolation, and they receive the necessary medical care, the statement added.

The Ministry further pointed that it is continuing to expand the search scope and conduct the necessary tests for all citizens coming from abroad who have been subjected to quarantine or home quarantine, in addition to all those who came in contact with the infected cases.

Till now 10,352 people have been tested for Covid-19 in Qatar.

17 people recovered from Covid19 today taking the total number of people recovered to 27 in Qatar so far, MoPH website said.
