Qatar International Food Festival
For the first time, QIFF is being held at the Oxygen Park in Education City and will feature three dedicated areas namely O1 for main course specialities and centre stage; O2 for kids-friendly foods and activities and O3 for cafes and light food.
Another of the highlights will be cooking demonstrations by 37 top international and local culinary artists from 17 countries — the largest number of celebrity chefs hosted in any one edition.
In addition to over 150 mouthwatering F&B offerings, QIFF offers visitors vibrant cultural shows, roaming entertainment, and month-long side events offering learning opportunities of culinary craft and healthy nutrition to participants of all ages.

AR Rahman live in Doha
In what’s billed as the biggest music show ever in Qatar, legendary Oscar-winning Indian musician AR Rahman will be performing in Qatar for the first time as part of the Qatar-India Year of Culture 2019. The Grammy-winner is known for his elaborate stage arrangement and his shows all around are a treat for music lovers.
Though the upper east stand tickets are sold out, tickets are now available for east stand right, left and middle priced at QR 225 to QR1,500 for Royal section.

Artistic Gymnastics World Cup
A total of 128 male and 60 female gymnasts representing 57 countries are taking part in the annual artistic gymnastics contest. Qatar is fielding three gymnasts including Ahmed Al Dayani, Ahmed Mosa and Raslan Saoud in the event.
Big names who will feature in the event includes world champions Xiao Ruoteng (CHN), Zou Jingyuan (CHN) and Epke Zonderland (NED). World’s oldest Olympian Oksana Chusovitina, 43, (UZB), and Belgium’s reigning world champion Nina Derwael also comprises the stellar cast.
Its a treat to watch these stalwarts perform and a must visit for families especially kids.

Odissi dance performance
An Odissi dance performance by veteran Indian artist Rina Jana and her group is being organized by the Embassy of India, Doha at the Al Majlis Hall, Sheraton, on March 21, 2019, at 6:45pm; and again on March 22 at Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF) at the Oxygen Park (Education City) as part of ‘India-Qatar Year of Culture-2019’.

MF Husain: Horses of the Sun
In what is considered the first large-scale exhibition of MF Husain’s works, MF Husain: Horses of the Sun is a showcase of over 100 works spanning more than six decades of the life of the renowned artist and contributor to modern Indian culture and the history of art in the 20th Century.
The exhibition includes paintings, drawings, textile works, and films, drawn from QF and Qatar Museums collections, as well as from private collections from the Gulf region and around the world.

Bangladesh Festival Qatar 2019
‘Bangladesh Festival Qatar 2019’ will be celebrated in Katara to observe the 48th anniversary of the Independence and National Day of Bangladesh.
Bangladesh Festival Qatar 2019 will feature a number of events which include screening of Bengali movie, children’s art competition, art workshop, photography competition and exhibition, food festival and art exhibition over a seven-day programme culminating to the Independence and National Day of Bangladesh which falls on March 26.
All events except the screening of movies are free of charge.

Cinq De Coeur
Katara-Cultural Village Foundation and the Embassy of France will present Cinq De Coeur. The group Cinq De Cour (Five of Hearts) is a French vocal group which specializes in musical humor. Created in 1991, they consist of five members.
The event is for free, but requires registration.
