Doha, Qatar: Media City Qatar brought the community together for its National Sport Day 2025 activation, ‘Ready, Set, Next,’ held at Msheireb Downtown Doha, Sikkat Wadi. The event welcomed participants of all ages and fitness levels, celebrating fitness, fun, and community spirit.
“Media City Qatar is redefining how sport, technology, and creativity come together to drive national priorities on National Sport Day. By bringing people together through interactive experiences and digital innovation, we’re helping communities across Qatar embrace healthier, more connected lifestyles,” said Kholoud Al Saai, Head of Event & Conference Management at Media City Qatar.
Attendees participated in a series of interactive fitness challenges, scanning QR codes to access guided exercises led by prominent Qatar-based influencer, and renowned sports broadcaster, Mohammed Saadon Al Kuwari, a former professional tennis player who energized the crowd and inspired active participation.
The exercises, ranging from wall push-ups to tricep dips and various sport zone activities, were designed to be easily performed using body weight or everyday structures such as walls, stairs, or benches.
As part of the event, an online raffle was conducted, with one winner, Renalyn Genciana, receiving two VIP tickets to the ONE 171 Championship, scheduled for February 20, 2025.
Leveraging technology for seamless navigation, electronic raffle draws, instructional videos led by influencers, and interactive sport zones, the initiative demonstrated how physical activity can be seamlessly integrated into daily life.
The event also highlighted the dynamic spirit of Msheireb Downtown Doha, the future home of Media City Qatar.
