Doha: The world’s largest combat sports promotion, ONE Championship (ONE), will make a spectacular return to Qatar with ONE 171: Qatar, set to take place at the Lusail Sports Arena today.
Following its successful inaugural live event in Qatar last year, ONE 166: Qatar - viewed by nearly 20 million fans worldwide, ONE firmly established its presence in the MENA region.
The ceremonial weigh-ins and face-offs took place at the Lusail Sports Arena yesterday, watched by on-site fans as well as millions world-wide via ONE FC's social media channels.
Topping the card is a highly anticipated rematch between ONE Strawweight MMA World Champion Joshua “The Passion” Pacio and interim titleholder Jarred “The Monkey God” Brooks.

In the co-main event, reigning ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Champion Jonathan “The General” Haggerty defends his belt against Chinese challenger “Demon Blade” Wei Rui.
With a total of 15 bouts on the card and action set to kick off at 6:00pm today, One 171: Qatar is all set to delight millions of fans, highlighting Qatar’s presence in the world of combat sports.
