Minister of Education and Higher Education H E Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi inaugurating the fifth edition of the exhibition for the creators of visual arts at the Abdulaziz Nasser Theatre in Souq Waqif.
Doha: Minister of Education and Higher Education H E Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi inaugurated yesterday the fifth edition of the exhibition for the creators of visual arts and the third edition of the school theatre festival at the Abdulaziz Nasser Theatre in Souq Waqif.
A number of senior officials of the ministry, school principals and parents attended the event.
Minister Al Nuaimi took an inspection tour of the exhibition, viewing the various participating artworks, listening to detailed explanations from the curators of the exhibition and the participating students with their artworks. She expressed her admiration for all the artworks at the exhibition.
Alongside the exhibition, the Minister also attended the school theatre festival.
The opening ceremony began with the National Anthem of Qatar, and then a recitation from the Quran.
The ministry’s senior officials addressed the audience on the role of culture, arts, and sports for the society, and honoured the partners, supporting parties and the administration of Abdulaziz Nasser Theatre.
