Doha, Qatar: Philippine International Institute Qatar has been renamed to Academia International Institute and Center which offers a wide range of educational courses designed specifically for expatriates residing in Qatar.
A ceremony was held yesterday to mark this event at Sheraton Grand Doha Resort and Convention Hotel. The training institute aims to offer an array of educational programmes encompassing soft skills courses, diploma courses, Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes.
The CEO and Founder of Academia, Annaliza Diet, emphasised the importance of renaming the institute and centre that would cater to individuals from all nationalities, dispelling any misconceptions that the institute solely serves the Filipino community. “The decision to adopt the name Academia was made, symbolising inclusivity and the institution’s commitment to welcoming learners from all backgrounds,” she told The Peninsula.
Academia International features 16 well-equipped classrooms and operates from 9am to 9pm, providing flexible learning opportunities to suit various schedules.
