World Health Organisation chief Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has praised Qatar’s efforts to implement a comprehensive approach to control Covid19.
"Good call with Hanan Mohamed Al Kuwari, @MOPHQatar. I congratulated her for HH the Emir of Qatar's leadership to contain #coronavirus & efforts to implement a comprehensive approach to suppress and control #COVID19," wrote Dr Tedros, the Director-General of the World Health Organisation.
The Minister of Public Health, H E Dr Hanan Mohammed Al Kuwari, along with MoPH officials has been at the forefront of the efforts to contain the spread of the new coronavirus in Qatar.
Dr Tedros has become the public face of the global fight against coronavirus.
