Doha: The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs inaugurated today the “Takalam” website for teaching Arabic for non-Arabic speakers, via the Islamic website “Islamweb” affiliated to the Department of Da’wah and Religious Guidance, with the support of the General Directorate of Endowments.
In remarks he gave during a press conference on Tuesday to announce the launch of the site, Director General of the General Directorate of Endowments Dr. Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Ghanem Al Thani said that the ‘Takalam’ website will be a global platform to facilitate learning the Arabic language in different ways.
He added that the new website will join the platforms and websites of the Islamic Network, pointing out that the Islamic Network is a multi-service website and portals that benefit the public throughout the year, as it provides consultations and fatwas in several languages.
Director of the Department of Dawah and Religious Guidance at the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs Mal Allah Al Jaber said that the website comes as a continuation of the role of the Department of Dawah and Religious Guidance in spreading knowledge and goodness to the largest number of people.
