Doha: The Minister of Education and Higher Education, H E Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi, on Tuesday inaugurated the fifth edition of the exhibition for the creators of visual arts and the third edition of the school theatre festival, which were held at the Abdulaziz Nasser theatre in Souq Waqif.
The event was attended by a number of senior officials from the ministry, school principals, and parents.
The minister took an inspection tour of the exhibition where she reviewed the various participating artworks and listened to a detailed explanation from the curators of the exhibition and the participating students. She expressed her admiration for all the artworks in the exhibition.
Alongside the exhibition, the minister also attended the school theatre festival, now in its third edition.
The ministry's senior officials addressed the audience on the role of culture, arts, and sports in society and honoured the partners, supporting parties, and the management of the Abdulaziz Nasser theatre.
