DOHA: Out of Katara’s interest in polishing creative talents in various areas of arts, Katara Art Studios open registration for the Arabic calligraphy workshop. It will be presented by the calligrapher Ahmad Hassan on October on 21, 22, 24, and 25, 5 – 8 pm. Arabic will be the language of instruction and the registration fees will be QR 500 per person above the age of 17.
Katara Art Studios is also organizing another workshop in the basics of ceramics, both in theory and practice. The workshop will be delivered by the artist Ahmad Allawi, and it will be held on October 26, 28, and 31. This is besides November 2, 4, 7,9,11, and 14 from 6 – 8 pm in building 19. The language of instruction will be in Arabic and the fee is QR 1700, and participants should not be below 19.
Ahmad Allawi is a renowned Iraqi artist, who has contributed in the exhibitions of plastic arts both in Iraq and Qatar. He has made several known statutes and murals.
