Souq Waqif Shopping Tour
Souq Waqif will be hosting a unique kind of Shopping Festival, where the public will be guided by Qataris who will show the ins and outs of the Souq on how to shop the finest local items. The number of persons per tour are 8-15 people and the tour is divided into three categories which are:
Men’s Tour
Tour Program: An expert led group walk through Souq Waqif discussing and discovering local men’s fabrics, thobe tailoring, accessories perfumes, art, coffee, dates, and Qatari snacks. Tour capacity is limited.

Time: 5PM to 6:30 PM

Women’s Tour
Tour Program: An expert led group walk through Souq Waqif discussing and discovering local handicrafts, abaya tailoring and fabrics, perfumes, incense, art and snacks. Tour capacity is limited.

Family Tour
Tour Program: An expert led group walk through Souq Waqif discussing and discovering local handicrafts, fabrics, perfumes, art and snacks. Tour capacity is limited.
Date: Saturday, January 20 & Saturday, January 27
Time: 5PM to 6:30 PM
Price: QR150 per person (Children below 14 years are free of charge, payment can be made online via PayPal or cash on the day)

Winter Festival 2018
Katara is all set to host the fifth edition of the Winter Festival featuring an array of entertainment and cultural activities.
The activities include a European show, popular folkloric shows, entertaining events and informative competitions.
In addition, the public will have an opportunity to acquire traditional and artistic pieces from Katara’s Traditional Souq, which will include a diverse range of products, such as textiles, perfumes and unique art pieces.
The winter festival will also comprise of Al-Gannas Association participating with an exhibition and educational workshops for young falconers, as well as Al Dau and Hadad Al-Salukii.

'A Dutch Musical Gift to Qatar'
Supported by the Museum of Islamic Art and the Dutch Business Council in Qatar, World-class pianists Sonja Park and Kees Wieringa will perform the groundbreaking composition ‘Canto Ostinato’. It will be the first time that this musical masterpiece from the Netherlands will perform in the Arab region! It is one of the classics of minimal music!
The concert is free and open to the public.

Sonu Nigam concert
Sonu Nigam will be performing live in Qatar for the Bollywood Week which is part of Shop Qatar 2018.
The Bollywood sensation is known for superhot songs like Kal Ho Naa Ho, Abhi Mujh Mein Kahin, Suraj Hua Maddham, Tanhayee and hundreds more like these.
Tickets range from QR50 to QR1,000. (Regular QR50, Silver QR100, Gold QR200, Platinum QR350 and VIP 1,000).
Paid parking will be available at the venue.

International fashion show
International Fashion Show, which is being held as part of Shop Qatar 2018, organized by, Talent Resources will have Pakistani celebrity actress and actor Maya Ali and Imran Abbas who will be walking the ramp, which will showcase designs by some of the renowned celebrity designers like Maria B and Emraan Rajput from Pakistan, Alejandro Resta from Spain and Fouad Sarkis from Lebanon.
The event is for free and seats will be provided on a first-come-first-served basis.

Chainsmokers concert
The Chainsmokers will perform live in Qatar for the first time during the International Week which is part of the Shop Qatar 2018.
Tickets are QR 275 for general admission, QR550 for VIP and QR 990 for Royal.
The Chainsmokers are known for hits like Paris, Closer, Something Just Like This and Don't Let Me Down.
