Minister of Labour H E Dr. Ali bin Samikh Al Marri affirmed that the celebration of this year’s National Day comes as the State of Qatar attained many remarkable achievements at the various political, economic, cultural, sports, and even humanitarian levels.
In exclusive statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), he said that the celebration of National Day is an occasion to emphasise the values of loyalty and pride in the dear homeland, and to take a moment to appreciate and respect for all the sacrifices and efforts made by the current and early leaders, starting with the founder, for the sake of establishing a strong, secure and stable State of Qatar.
The Minister said that the principles laid down and embodied by the founder Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed bin Thani were followed by many generations until they became a cherished inheritance and a solid foundation upon which the State was built.
He indicated that the recruitment and training of national competencies is one of the important priorities of the ministry, so that they are ready and qualified to work in private sector institutions through implementing nationalization policies in coordination and partnership with various state institutions, noting the compatibility of visions with private sector institutions to encourage Qatari citizens to work for them.
The ministry has begun to conclude bilateral agreements with some private sector institutions and companies with the aim of employing national forces and human resources and qualifying them to compete in the labor market, he noted.
As the State of Qatar celebrates National Day, it continues its steady approach towards a brighter future under the wise leadership of the Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who was able to make unprecedented achievements at all levels in a short period, he underlined.
He said the celebration of National Day represents a beacon to the path of goodness that Qatar is experiencing and establishes the right of citizenship, thanks to its founder, who worked with every possible effort for the country’s independence and defended it, adding that the Founder’s task was then continued by those who came after him until the era of the Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who crowned this march with the recent Shura Council elections.
On this dear occasion, he extended sincere congratulations on behalf of himself and all employees of the Ministry of Labor to the State of Qatar, its leadership and people, led by HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
