Shura Council legal committee holds meeting

Doha: The Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee of the Shura Council held a meeting yesterday chaired by its Rapporteur H E Abdul Rahman bin Yousuf  Al Khulaifi.

During the meeting, the committee discussed and studied Decree-Law No. (19) of 2021 amending some provisions of the Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism Law promulgated by Law No. (20) of 2019.

The committee decided to approve the aforementioned decree-law as stated by the government, and recommended the Shura council to approve it as stated.
